Kinapse Strengthens Executive Team and Consulting Partner Network
London, UK (PRWeb) March 26, 2007 -- Kinapse has recently strengthened its senior team with the addition of Stuart Pavelin, Professor Sreeharan and Mike Waterhouse.
Stuart Pavelin, formerly with PharmaVentures recently joined the Kinapse Executive Team as Vice President. Stuart will have leadership responsibility for Kinapse's Asset Value Consulting services which complement Kinapse's existing R&D organisation and process consultancy expertise with a focus on R&D business development. Stuart Pavelin explained "the Kinapse proposition is further enhanced by our ability to add value to both R&D operations and pipelines. By analogy, we can now help our clients by fine tuning the engine and optimising fuel quality for racing performance."
In addition, Professor Sreeharan, formerly with GlaxoSmithKline and Mike Waterhouse, previously with GE Healthcare, have joined Kinapse as Consulting Partners.
Sree has held several senior positions in both Academia and in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Europe, North America and Asia. He was Foundation Professor and Chairman of Medicine in Sri Lanka and a Senior Executive at GlaxoSmithKline R&D for over 20 years, lately as Senior Vice President and European Medical Director. He is an MD, PhD and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and the American College of Physicians. Sree currently holds Visiting Professorships at the Postgraduate Medical School, University of Surrey, UK and the UITM Medical School, Malaysia.
Mike has over 25 years experience across both R&D and Manufacturing/Supply Chain and his main areas of expertise are project management and driving lasting business change using Lean and Six Sigma. Mike is a practicing consultant working with major clients within the Healthcare and other industries. Having started his career in Wellcome and then Glaxo Wellcome, recent roles were as VP R&D Project Management in Amersham plc and, latterly, as Lean Six Sigma Quality Leader/certified Master Black Belt for GE Healthcare's Medical Diagnostics business. While at GE, Mike recruited and trained a team of Black Belts and Master Black Belts and successfully drove the deployment of Lean Six Sigma across all areas of the Medical Diagnostics business, delivering major improvements in process efficiency and reductions in cycle time and waste in R&D and Manufacturing/Supply Chain.
