People & Performance Solutions Presents a Change Management Workshop at IPSI 2007

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 22, 2007 -- At this year’s ISPI conference, People & Performance Solutions, a change management consulting company, presented the workshop, Developing & Sustaining Organizational Change Management Capabilities. In this hands-on workshop, People & Performance Solutions engaged participants in the use of a blueprint to assess, develop, transfer knowledge and sustain organizational change management capabilities to result in organizational resiliency.

The presenters, Dennis Dawson and Tim Rice, both partners at People & Performance Solutions, instructed attendees on how to use a systematic change management approach to identify stakeholders, determine how the change impacts the stakeholder, design and implement a change plan to minimize productivity impacts while embedding the capability to continually improve performance of the individual and the organization in the changed environment.

“The format of the workshop was designed so that the participants could walk away with practical tools and templates that could be applied to actual work scenarios”, said Mr. Rice. “In the workshop, we worked with the attendees on applying the People & Performance Solutions' change management tools and templates to their work situations”, added Rice.

The workshop instructed the attendees on the foundation of the People & Performance Solutions’ change management methodology that allows companies to engage their stakeholders to successfully develop and implement change plans enabling effective knowledge transfer and change management capability development (both leadership and organizational). Mr. Dawson and Mr. Rice stressed with the group that an effective implementation of the methodology requires proactive client resource engagement both during and after implementation in order to ensure that the client owns the solution and is committed to continually improving performance

Mr. Dawson was pleased with the response he received from the attendees of the workshop. “The participants were very satisfied with how People & Performance Solutions’ Change Management methodology could easily be applied to any industry and how flexible the tools and templates were to use”, indicated Dawson. The attendees represented various industries, including pharmaceutical, automotive, government and hospitality.

People & Performance Solutions appreciates ISPI’s confidence in allowing them to participate at their performance conference for the second year. People & Performance Solution hopes to continue working with ISPI on future conferences.
