Cardiocore Adds Daniel Goodman, MD to its Cardiac Safety Consulting Team
Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) June 28, 2007 -- Cardiocore, a premier centralized cardiac safety testing laboratory, announced today that industry expert Daniel B. Goodman, MD has joined its scientific consulting team. Working alongside Cardiocore's Chief Medical Officer Lawrence Satin, MD, FACC, Dr. Goodman will enable Cardiocore to expand its best-in-class consulting services to support its growing base of pharmaceutical and biotech customers.
"Dan Goodman is a true founding father of our industry," said Dr. Satin, "and I am honored to have him as a consulting partner and a friend. It's hard to think of an individual more aligned with Cardiocore's commitment to scientific excellence. Dan has helped develop the best practices for cardiac safety testing in clinical pharmacology units, and I am delighted that Cardiocore's Thorough QT customers will benefit from his expertise."
Dr. Goodman, a graduate of Yale University and Cornell University Medical School, founded the leading-edge Cardiology for Clinical Trials in 1992. He directed medical affairs in the cardiac safety services branch of a major CRO from 1994 until April 2007. In that capacity he developed protocols, produced cardiac safety reports and oversaw both global Phase III and Thorough QT studies. Goodman's work is well-recognized and well-published, establishing him as an international thought leader in the area of cardiac safety testing.
"Cardiocore has always put sponsors' need for scientific quality ahead of all other interests," explained Dr. Goodman, "and that's why I have decided to join their team of consulting experts. Cardiocore's integrity raises the bar for our whole industry, and I'm proud to be part of it."
Technology expert and Cardiocore CEO Jennifer Cotteleer added, "Larry and Dan are both industry pioneers and technology innovators. It's rare to find individuals who combine such depth of experience with such powerful forward vision. Their collaboration will continue the trend of sponsors turning to Cardiocore to find the safest, most efficient, most advanced solutions for their cardiac safety testing needs."
Dr. Goodman's expertise will be available to Cardiocore's customers through an exclusive consulting agreement with respect to core labs between Cardiocore and Entelligent Solutions where he serves as Medical Director. Cardiocore and Dr. Goodman launched their expanded offering at the 43rd DIA Annual Meeting, in Atlanta, on June 17 through June 21.

Early Signs You Need Debt Management
Like any disease (which is exactly what debt is), the best way to fight it, is to prevent it rather than cure it. The number of bankruptcies is growing astronomically and one should realize that it is something that could happen to any one of us, unless we are prepared. This can be done by being able to tell the signs of a coming debt trap and immediately take corrective measures.
