Southeastern Council of Foundations Taps Boardwalk Consulting For CEO Search New President will Follow Martin Lehfeldt, 'an Extraordinary Philanthrop
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 5, 2007 -- The Southeastern Council of Foundations (SECF), a regional membership association of public and private grantmakers based in 11 southern states, announced today that BoardWalk Consulting had been retained to conduct the search for the organization's next President.

W. E. (Chip) Gaylor, chairman of SECF's board, called Martin Lehfeldt "an extraordinary philanthropic leader." President of SECF since 1997, Mr. Lehfeldt recently announced his plan to retire.
The new president will oversee high-quality programs and services for SECF's 370 members. Among other priorities, the president will be charged with implementing an ambitious new strategic plan and developing services and programs that address the emerging needs and opportunities facing foundations throughout the southern quadrant of the United States.
